If you are using a straight drapery rod, you have the choice to have the outside edge of the drape return to the wall or you can use an extra drapery ring on the end of the pole, and hang the outside edge of the drape from the last ring.

If you want the outside edge of the drape to return to the wall, measure from the wall to the center of the drapery pole. This will be the size of the outside edge return.

There will be a drapery hook on the end. You can secure that end to the wall with a small hook or tack and attach the drapery hook to whatever you use, to secure it to the wall.

If you want to use an extra drapery ring on the outside edge of the drape instead, then we will make a smaller sized return. The last drapery ring on the outside edge will be between the finial and the bracket. This will hold the outside edge of the drape in place if you open and close the drapes.

If you want to use a French Return Pole like in the picture, the outside edge returns would be smaller as the drapes will follow the curve of the pole and return to the wall.

For Drapes that will be hung on French Return Poles, there will be a smaller edge next to the last pleat so the drapes will fit neatly against the wall.

We insert drapery hooks behind each pleat on the drapery panel, and on each end of the drapery panel. To hang the drapes, all you have to do is insert the drapery hooks into the drapery rings.

If you want to adjust the length of the drapes up or down slightly, you can easily take out the drapery hooks and reinsert them moving them down slightly to raise the drapes up, or reinsert the drapery hook higher to lower the drapes a bit.

The drapes are ironed before we package them for shipping. We package each panel in a plastic bag and carefully place them in the box. Creases can occur, especially with linen fabric. When drapes are shipped, they will shift and get tossed about.

When you hang the drapes, you can use a hand steamer to steam out any creases and wrinkles that may occur.
